Our Commitment to Quality

The Management and staff of Probiotics International Ltd commit themselves to quality in the manufacture and supply of all of our probiotic formulations and are totally committed to the principles and application of Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems.

By ensuring we have the facilities, procedures, quality systems and suitably trained and qualified personnel to carry out the manufacture of our products we are able to meet customer requirements and control product performance, dispatch and transport, technical and sales support and all aspects of administration.

All products manufactured in our purpose built GMP facilities are subject to our stringent quality control procedures and we guarantee that the products manufactured will be of the highest quality. Our objective is to purchase raw materials from Quality Assured approved suppliers and to implement systems, which are designed to conform to cGMP Quality Standards.

Quality Control is implemented and maintained by our own in-house team backed by independent UKAS (United Kingdom Assurance Scheme) accredited microbiological and analytical laboratories which carry out the analysis of raw material and finished products. Certificates of Analysis are kept for every batch of product and are available on request.

We hold quality certifications with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practise) by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency),  ISO 9001:2008 and BETA NOPS. We have fully documented Quality Assurance, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), Health and Safety and Hygiene policies, which form the basis of all our procedures and operations.

We accept the need to conform to the highest standards in all aspects of our organisation. At Probiotics International we set out our procedures utilising risk assessment and continuous improvement to conform to the quality assurance standards whilst adhering to all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, food and feed safety objectives.
