The winning WC, aptly named ‘Dram Fine’ is described by Neil as: “the ultimate scotch loo”. It is truly the ultimate convenience for any whisky lover - with exceptional attention to detail including Whisky hand wash and whisky hand cream. There is a handcrafted whisky cask end on the wall, whisky poster and also appropriate whisky themed reading material. There are also handcrafted shelves created from oak cask staves which feature a collection of bottles of islay single malts. To top it all off, it is immaculately clean.
Lepicol, a fibre, probiotic and prebiotic brand and the Loo of the Year Awards teamed up to create the award last year when the High Seas Hobbit Barrel Loo took the prize. Lepicol Marketing Executive, Lauren Lemmer comments: ‘I am thrilled the whisky toilet won this year, it was a favourite of mine. It’s great to hear from people who are proud of their loos!’
Neil and his wife Lynne were presented with the 2013 Lepicol Home Throne Award at the Loo of the Year Awards Event last month. They also received a complimentary stay at the elegant St Johns Hotel in Solihull courtesy of the hotel.
