I gave my dog 1 a day unfortunately I didn't see any benefits,but my dog is young and healthy so might suit an older pup better.

I really thought these treats were great for my dog, the difference in my dog was unbelievable. The difference it made to their bowel movements where amazing and my dog is so much happier now

Tasty treats for my cockapoo, which are doing him good as well as looking after his gut health. He enjoyed the flavour and gobbled them up!

I did not notice any difference in my dogs' behaviour. However, my dogs did like the taste and were eating them as nice treats.

As a rescue I want to do anything that will improve life for my 3 year old dachshund so these definitely seemed worth a try. Took a few days for him to get used to taking them but now will happily take it as a treat. Haven’t noticed any real difference in general but have noticed that his stools are firmer but without any straining. There could be quite runny instances beforehand. Have been using for 8 weeks and just purchased a second packet so will continue with them for a while. Certainly doing no harm and he does enjoy them so a healthier treat.

Overall I thought these chews were pretty good. I have been giving my French bulldog daily and he seems to enjoy them. Anyone who owns a French bulldog will know they can have sensitive stomachs and my little guy isn't any different. The biggest differences I have noticed is that he isn't as sick when eating before he tried these, certain foods would make him sick. The biggest difference was how much gas he has. If we gave him anything different like trying a new treat he would have lots of flatulence which would smell horrendous! Feeding him these we have been able to give him a little more variety with his treats. They are full of beneficial ingredients like probiotics and prebiotics which even without any issues are always good to give your dog. The only downside is the price of a packet they're pretty expensive but as I said they are packed full of beneficial ingredients so I would probably be willing to pay it for the health benefits they give my dog.

These treats are really working well. I felt that my dog was overall happier and more energetic. She was enjoying her daily treat and got to know the sound of the package!

I was very excited to try these new dog treats, especially as my older dog, Pepper, has a sensitive tummy and I am always looking for treats that she can have without upsetting her tummy. Both my dogs were eager to get into the packet and both clearly loved the treats. One the first day they each enjoyed 2 treats each and I was feeling happy that they didn't seem to upset Pepper's tummy. Sadly though that didn't last and after a few days of trying the treats both dogs got diarrhea. I left the treats for a week and went back to giving them their usual snack then decided to try the Protexin again. After giving both dogs 2 treats their diarrhea returned so I could not complete the full trial myself. Rather than waste the treats I passed them to a friend to try and her dog had no problems so I guess it is down to the individual dog. This snack clearly didn't suit my dogs, though they both clearly enjoyed eating them.

My dog really enjoyed these treats, and they made a real difference to his energy levels, and dare I say it happiness. He seemed to really love them.

We rescued our 5 year old miniature dachshund in June and back then her diet had not been great and she was listless, her sparse fur was dull, she had a persistent weepy eye and runny poos. She also has an underbite which makes giving treats difficult if they are too hard. She has been on Protexin for 8 weeks and after a week her coat looked better, her poos firmed up and she seemed full of beans. Her weepy eye also seems to have cleared up. She loves her daily heart shaped treat and as they are super soft she has no problem eating them We have ordered another packet to continue giving her these in the future. Highly recommended.
