Webinar - Is it necessary to use probiotics in infants?

'Is it necessary to use probiotics in infants?'

Interactive Webinar 19th January 2016, 18.30-19.30

About the host

Natalie Lamb NT Dip CNM, mBANT, BA Hons, GAPS

After the success of Natalie webinar on 'An introduction to gut flora and fermented foods' Natalie's next webinar will concentrate on infants.

At birth the infant’s gut flora is obtained from the mother and environment around them.  Particularly in early life, the composition of the gut flora profoundly influences the development of the immune system and the gut mucosal lining.  With the incidence of allergic diseases, gastrointestinal disorders and behavioural issues increasing, are probiotics the answer?

Natalie is a qualified Nutritional Therapist who studied a three year diploma in Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London and is a member of The British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT). Natalie saw clients in a private clinic in London for 2 years before joining Probiotics International Ltd (Protexin), manufacturers of Bio-Kult and Lepicol ranges. Natalie is now a fully qualified GAPS practitioner.

Natalie has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and prior to working as a Nutritional Therapist she spent over 10 years working in food and health related industries, from market research analysis for UK food and drink manufacturers to food preparation and service within the hospitality industry. For 5 years Natalie worked for a UK cancer charity assisting with their awareness program and researching and preparing information articles for the public and health care professionals.

From Natalie's presentation you will be able to take with you:

• The importance of the gut flora development in infants
