The original multi-strain Bio-Kult product containing 14 strains of probiotics for everyday use.

The beneficial bacteria in Bio-Kult are cryoprotected during the freeze drying process, which gives two main benefits:
1. They are protected from the harsh acid environment of the stomach and are therefore able to colonise the full length of the gastrointestinal tract.
2. The process allows Bio-Kult to be stored at room temperature without the need for refrigeration.

Bio-Kult can be used on a continuous basis or for a short period of time, e.g. when taking antibiotics

"Got my biokult and then ordered some more! I'm impressed with the variety of strains which is so important. Still I could make some suggestions for how biokult could better fit my needs. The dose recommended by your company is 2 -4 capsules per day (4 to 8 billion units) but that is valid for healthy people who are looking for prevention or to help them adapt to stress during travel. I really should be taking at least 20 billions units per day to help resolve gut disbiosis, which would require me to take 10 capsules but since I can't really afford it I'm taking a bit less.. also it would be nice if I could have a larger amount per capsule so that I would just have to take one at a time, say 3 times a day. Another suggestion: despite the wide range of species in biokult, there are some notable omisions: no strains of beneficial yeast are present, and neither are physiological strains of E.coli, which are very important to combat candida and pathological strains of E coli. I also happen to know that physiological E.coli plays an important role in the synthesis and absorbtion of some vitamines such as K. Never the less your product is the best I have been able to find on the market so far, and I will continue to take it, probably for 6 months (I wish I could get a discount for large orders!). I particularily like the fact the capsule is easy to open which allows flexibility in how I take it. (swallowed or in powder form. Pouring the powder on my tongue helps populate my mouth with beneficial bacteria too)"

Each capsule contains:

2 billion live microorganisms per capsule (2x109 CFU), viable throughout the shelf life, equivalent to 10 billion live microorganisms per gram (1x1010 CFU).

Usage

Directions for use:

Take 1 - 2 capsules once or twice daily with food. If taking two or more capsules daily, you may wish to split the dose between two meals
Bio-Kult is a completely safe probiotic, has no contraindications and carries no risk of overdose
Bio-Kult probiotic capsules can be swallowed whole or pulled apart and the contents sprinkled on to food, or mixed in a drink.

If you are taking antibiotics:

Take 4 capsules daily, ideally at a different time of the day from the antibiotics
Continue taking for at least 2 weeks after completion of the antibiotic course.
